Make Your Own Art Toys with iModela
If you read Albotas, you’ve probably dreamt of making your own line of designer toys at one point or another. I know I have. But I definitely don’t have any sculpting skills. If you’ve got 3D modeling skills, you can go at it with iModela, a tiny additive printer. It fits on your desk, connects via USB, and uses inexpensive materials to print your very own toys. It costs a somewhat reasonable $1,000, but the big question for me is whether it works with third party software.

2 Turntables & Microphone Mini 3-Pack from Kidrobot.
MAD’s Bent World figures have always been a favorite, and this new 3-pack doesn’t disappoint. Each figure is approximately 3-inches, has articulating arms, and come in a fresh-to-death boombox package with window display.
Expect these to drop August 25 for $29.95 per pack from Kidrobot.
Also be sure to check out Bent World Beats blindboxed series which drops the same day.
