Starting off strong with a booming drum introduction and the classic Disturbed growl, SubVibe’s remix of “Down With The Sickness” is a filthy, nasty, bass-banging track topped off with raging Disturbed vocals, simultaneously nostalgic and highly disturbing. A droning lead with a scratchy high-end provides a framework for David Draiman’s distorted and rhythmic singing style while a dramatically building synth-line creates a feeling of rapidly impending doom.
